A TRUE EXAMPLE OF A HIGH-QUALITY PRODUCT FROM A VERY YOUNG COOPERATIVE
This Peruvian lot comes from the Huancabamba province — a product of the young Aroma de Valle cooperative. This agricultural coffee-producing cooperative brings together 596 families across several provinces: Jaén, San Ignacio, and Utcubamba. Coffee trees in these areas grow across a wide range of terroirs at elevations from 1,000 up to 2,300 meters above sea level.
The story of Aroma de Valle begins in 2015 as a small association of coffee producers. Through effort and dedication, it evolved into a large cooperative with strong, sustainable foundations. Their work is built on democracy, loyalty, and environmental care — supporting the socio-economic development of their producers and fostering an active, participatory social identity within their families.
In practice, this means the cooperative’s leadership supports farmers with organic fertilizers, seedlings, and training. At their processing stations, they use renewable energy methods and eco-friendly approaches such as eco-depulpers.
This natural-processed lot is the result of that hard work — a blend of Caturra, Typica, and Pache. The classic natural process adds sweetness and highlights the creamy character of the cup.
