This coffee was grown and processed under the guidance of Baho, a trusted specialty coffee producer originally from Burundi. After fifteen years in Rwanda’s coffee industry, Emmanuel Rusatira and his family decided to purchase and establish their own washing stations.

Today, the company operates more than ten coffee processing stations in Rwanda and Burundi. Each one has its own unique flavor profile and distinctive characteristics thanks to its location and specific management. The Rusatira family has developed their own coffee grading system and continues to experiment with washed, honey, and natural processes. All year round, the company also works closely with farmers, supporting their work, including financially.

At Emmanuel’s stations, people sing and dance while sorting, depulping, and washing coffee. But behind the friendliness and great energy there is professionalism and reliability.
